Basin Safety offers Public and Private General Industry 10 Hour Courses. The topics covered include: Electrical, Fall Protection, Ergonomics, Hazard Recognition and Control, Flammables and Combustibles, Hazard Communication, and many more. You can tailor this course to meet your company’s needs or register for our public course online.
This course covers H2S Awareness level in addition to the PEC Safeland Course. The H2S portion generally takes 1.5 hours, and covers: H2S toxicity, flammability, chemical composition, danger signs, emergency action plans, basic first aid, as well as Respiratory Protection.
In-depth curriculum developed by PEC Safety will improve employee safety performance for general industry workers who may come in contact with hydrogen sulfide during their regular job duties. This course goes beyond awareness training and prepares general industry workers by providing crucial knowledge of the dangers of H2S and the precautions, tools and controls necessary when working in H2S environments. H2S Clear has no prerequisite and covers the current classroom requirements of ANSI Z390.1 and is designed to meet the new ANSI requirements released in 2016.
PEC H2S Clear can also be used to enhance other training courses such as PEC Basic Orientation, PEC Basic/10, or PEC Core Compliance.Ensure your employees are trained on standardized H2S topics required by operators and regulatory agencies in the most complete and cost effective program developed by PEC Safety.

The Defensive Driving Course is a four-hour driver improvement program that offers practical strategies to reduce collision-related injuries, fatalities and costs. DDC addresses the importance of attitude in preventing collisions and reinforces the good driving skills you already have.
Certified persons may qualify for a personal insurance discount, fleet insurance discount, and insurance point reduction. DDC4 also meets the requirements for Workforce Safety Insurance Safe Driver program.
Comprehensive course designed to be interactive and hands-on using industry-leading curriculum. This course will provide participants with the vital knowledge they need to respond to a medical emergency effectively and efficiently. The course is approximately five and a half hours in length, held in a classroom setting at either your facility or at Basin Safety’s classroom. This course meets OSHA requirements for 29 CFR 1910.151(b) and 29 CFR 1926.50(c).
This two part class offers in-depth classroom training covering multiple fire safety topics, including Emergency Fire Exits, Fire Extinguishers, Emergency Action Plans, Flammable and Combustible Hazardous Materials, and Fire Prevention. The second half consists of hands-on training using a cutting-edge fire simulator and training fire extinguishers. Each participant has an opportunity to learn how to properly hold and use a fire extinguisher and extinguish a live fire in a safe and controlled environment. This course meets OSHA requirements for 29 CFR 1910 Subpart E (Exit Routes and Emergency Planning) and Subpart L (Fire Protection).
